REMEMBERING THE REASON

Annual Memorial Day Weekend Dinner and Silent Auction

Veterans Journey Home Documentary Viewing

Stay tuned for information for 2024!

This special dinner is our invitation to you to Remember the Reason.

Memorial Day is about so much more than a barbeque and kick-off to summer.

It’s a time to honor those who gave their lives in service to our country, that we might enjoy freedoms. We invite you to Remember the Reason, perhaps in memory of a family member or friend who served in the military, by attending this gourmet dinner and participating in the silent auction.

If you want to support Healing Warrior Hearts and already have other plans for Memorial Day Weekend, you can donate your ticket to a veteran to attend in your place. You can choose the veteran or we have a list of veterans we would like to honor for their service – from Korean War time to present conflicts.

Remembering the Reason

Chef’s Table is honored to have the opportunity to host a fundraising dinner and silent auction for Healing Warrior Hearts, an organization that provides free retreats to veterans dealing with emotional issues from their service, helping to reduce the suicide rate of 20 veterans per day.

Advances in field treatment and medical technology are allowing more veterans to return home after injuries, physical and mental. However, many of them struggle with finding peace of mind and heart in returning to civilian life. Many of those who return without physical wounds are suffering emotional trauma and moral injury, resulting in Post Traumatic Stress and other emotional difficulties.

Register now and reserve your place at the Chef’s Table. Space at the table is limited to 30 guests at $300 per seat and will be first come, first served. Additional seating may be available up to a maximum of 50 attendees.

Sponsor Opportunities

Sponsor opportunities are also available to cover the expenses of the food and labor involved in providing the dinner Chef David and his staff will create, allowing more funds to flow through to Healing Warrior Hearts.

Healing Warrior Hearts offers weekend retreats at no cost to veterans to help them find emotional recovery and well-being. Founder Patricia Clason has been doing this work for over 25 years. Her work was chosen for a documentary, Veterans Journey Home

Her work was also featured in a Channel 4 news story about the Veterans Journey Home Documentary.
