Chris comes from a family of veterans—his father, brother, three uncles, three cousins, and son-in-law all served. He is an Iraq Combat veteran who served in the Air Force from 1987 to 2014 as a Weapon Systems Officer in the F-4, F-111, and F-15E and as an Air Liaison Officer for the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division and the 82nd Airborne Division. Chris went through the Mankind Project’s New Warrior Training Adventure leading him to eventually participate in the Vets Journey Home weekend. His experiences of emotional healing led him to staffing retreats and then on to leading and instructing. Chris is also a board member for Texas for Heroes, a non-profit that organizes and funds Healing Warrior Hearts weekends in Houston, TX.
